Aerobatics

Fly in the fully aerobatic Bulldog. The Bulldog was used by the RAF at a basic trainer. The feel of the aircraft and the view from the cockpit are exactly what you would expect from an aircraft with a military pedigree.

Your instructor will brief you fully on all aspects of the flight; they will talk you through the aerobatic manoeuvres that you will fly. Whilst the Bulldog is capable of a wide range of manoeuvres, your flight can be as gentle or extreme as you wish.

You will have an opportunity to take the controls as you climb away from the airfield and head out for our practice area.  Once at a safe height, your instructor will demonstrate some basic aerobatic manoeuvres, traditionally starting with a wingover and followed by a loop, roll and a stall turn. Depending on the length of the flight and your ambitions, you may also like to try some more extreme manoeuvres, such as Flick Rolls, Cuban 8’s or an Avalanche. Finally you will return to Old Sarum where (traffic permitting) you will do a low pass before landing.

Whatever you choose we guarantee that this will be an experience that you will never forget. To mark your achievement you will be presented with a certificate. There will be an opportunity for photographs with the aircraft after the flight, so be sure to bring a camera.
